Great Yarmouth Day 5 (2 August) - Southbound

We have to be out of the caravans by 10am.  My car was in the car park before 9:30 - packed and ready to go.  When the rest of the crew were ready, we went to crazy golf.  We are allowed to stay on site until 4pm.  Crazy Golf was typically competitive, with my two boys and the oldest grandchild within to strokes of each other almost all the way.  The youngsters soon lost interest.  The result came down to the last hole.

Then there was another swim for most of them.  Jo and I minded the buggy and stayed dry for the journey home.  We lunched at Burger King, also on site, and then started the journey back after doing various combinations of pictures in the big chair.

Many of us didn't want to leave so soon.

Our return journey, despite edging into rush-hour, was reasonably quick and moderately pleasant.

We have had a very good - very hectic - 5 days.  We have returned home for a rest.  The forecast rain, thunderstorms and colder weather did not arrive.
