During my time away, Karen's had a birthday, we went to get the free birthday coffee from Starbucks. Karen was admiring a mug, so I bought it for her as a birthday present.
At the start of the holiday, I had borrowed the mug on the left and used it throughout for my tea and coffee. It is a good size and distinctive among their collection of mugs. That made it easy to recognise, so I stuck with it.
On the last day, while I was packing, I was told to take the mug. I was rather reluctant, as it is one of her souvenirs, she got her qualifications through JSU. But, I was persuaded. Then I was terrified it would not make it through baggage handling, but here it is! I have been awarded a cup, not in the usual way, but in the best way possible. The cup will forever remind me of my 2.5 weeks holiday with Karen in 2022. I'm missing them all, already.
