For the first time in many years Jo and I have had a full fortnight holiday. We stayed in Falmouth in Cornwall.

The first week was sunny, but windy, the second week was calmer and hotter. We have had a very relaxing and reasonably active holiday. Falmouth is about 6 hours drive away (including short breaks), so the two travelling days were hard work. It was worth it to get to a different environment. The pattern for the day was (roughly) - wake at 7:30, breakfast 8:30, reading 9:15, daily activities start at about 10:00, and we came back when they finished. Cornwall is a beautiful county and benefits from the Gulf Stream, so has a milder climate as some of my pictures will show.
