The REAL Shoulder class
I arrived again at Basildon Hospital gym, not quite so early as yesterday, but in plenty of time. Its really about group exercise, and reducing the number of Physiotherapists needed. There is a group warm up, followed by a rotation of exercises, and a group activity at the end. All designed to get movement and strength into the soulder (which ever one it is). I saw no evidence of mutual support, hardly any communication amongst the patients. I now have a long list of exercises to do at least twice a day. I estimate 40 minutes a session, but we will see how it goes later.
