Sunday saw us drive to Luton, as we delivered her grandad's the car to Karen. She should get a year out of it with a bit of luck, but the list of warnings on the service suggest that she probably won't get much beyond that. Its always interesting to try to work out the best point to no longer invest in keeping a car on the road - but its a largely fruitless exercise. Still, Nan is pleased that the car has gone to a 'good home', and its another few hundred pounds that Karen doesn't have to find - until next year anyway.
The place she is staying looks nice - its reasonably well decorated, and has a similar style to my first house, but is bigger. We will see the church at her commissioning service on 24 Sept.
