A Radio in 1984

In 1984, in the same month that my first children were born, my dad bought a radio.  The receipt is below. I have no idea what it looked like, but I expect it was something like the picture below - without the DAB, of course.

Recently we were clearing out some old papers and the receipt was among them.  It's odd that from a monetary point of view the price is similar to today's radios.  When inflation is taken into account, the radio should cost about £69.20 in 2021.

Electrical goods are much cheaper, and therefore, I suspect, much less valued.
