Choir for All Seasons - Saturday evening

Jo suggested that we should go to the Choir for All Seasons concert at the Billericay URC.  She had heard about it on the Radio.  The URC is near the bus stop where I get off each evening and only five minutes walk from home.  The concert was called "Strictly for the birds" and featured songs and music about birds, our impressions of birds and our emotions projected onto birds.  Most of the songs I didn't know, but 3 I did.  Snow Bird, Yellow Bird and of course Spring from the Four Seasons.  All the items were enjoyable, and explained well by the conductor.  The concert was an ideal end to a wet and dismal Saturday, after a week that had promised that spring had really arrived at last.  Perhaps it was the weather but the number of people attending was not that great. The last time we saw them the URC church was nearly full.
If you're on Facebook, the choir's fan page is here.  There is a little more on te choir at the bottom of this page.
