Cars, cars and more cars

My week seems to have been dominated by cars. Now generally I like cars - they're fun, but the also come at a cost. I'm not only talking about money. There's time as well. Our main car had its service this week, and I'm please to say that it now runs very well, and we have a better idea of the things that will have to be done next year. Both Andy's car, and our small car have to go in for minor repairs next week. Minor repairs can be expensive - we'll see.

Yesterday Mike and I went out to look for a car. We went to see a Peugeot 106, but it wasn't very nice to drive, so we went to look around the garages near the one we had visited. This is what we found:

Its a Vauxhall Corsa comfort, and has a reasonably low insurance group, but the cost of insurance for a seventeen year old is still astronomical.

We expect to pick up the car next weekend.

After we had found the car Mike bought me lunch in Pizza Hut - which was very nice of him.
