Sunday, April 1st @ 10:00am at Christ Church - Palm Sunday

The Easter season starts, it all seems to be happening late this year. The arrangements for Maundy Thursday are only just there, or so far as I'm aware they are. The sermon is about the procession, and the differences in what we inherit as a result of the two 'coronations'. We don't inherit anything from the Queen of course, the reverse is true - she inherits from us (if we don't leave a will). It was an interesting sermon. It was a good service, although a little flat until the end I thought.
On another Palm Sunday topic, I like Liz's question:
Oh, and which member of the crowd are you on Palm Sunday? Are you welcoming the King with shouts of acclamation or not? At the front of the crowd, taking in everything, or at the back, not quite sure?
I'd put myself at the back - sure or not of the events I'm watching, I'm always less sure of the crowd - crowds are unpredictable.
Afterwards there was a 'hunger' lunch for Christian Aid. No-one in this country really goes hungry, especially not in Billericay - so its a good way of raising money - to help those who regularly do.

I also recieved some of the completed feedback forms. Very interesting comments, and some very good scores. I'm very pleased with course, but am struggling with where to go next.

AND - my first Easter egg. It was a good service!
