Parish Placement Presentation

Last night I did my parish placement presentation to the tutor group. Unfortunately only three of us were there. I am please to say that it went very well. I have received a pass - which is the most important thing in terms of me making progress through the course, and ending up where I believe I'm being called to be.

The evening had started with concerns that the snow might mean that we couldn't go. I phoned the guy who has furthers to travel, and we decided that it was a border line decision and that we'd go for it. Very brave of me - as I wasn't driving! One of the other students passes close to my home, and give me a lift. Our destination is close to the estuary, and was much warmer ans snow free.

All week I have been struggling with a cold. Its not been bad enough to keep me off work, just to take the edge off everything I do. For the first time yesterday I began to feel slightly better.

Romans 8:28 comes to mind.

For the placement I was at Hutton, I would like here to express my thanks to all those in the churches there (All Saints and St. Peters), for the welcoming and the friendship they showed me while I was there. I really enjoyed myself. May God bless you all.

  1. Good job on passing your PPP. Takes more than a little snow to stop you.

  2. But the snow seemed to have stopped the rest of the country, I can assure you the Canadians are laughing at us all.
