Back to our current version of 'normal'. Karen went home yesterday. So it just the two boys now. This morning the church seemed fuller that usual, and I was leading the service. Its the start of a new year, and I normally seem to end up doing something on this Sunday. All went well I thought, but I struggle with leading much more than with preaching. There's something about being prepared I think. I like to know what I am doing and have what I am saying checked out before I open my mouth and put my foot in it! I don't think that happened today. Warner spoke from Luke 2:41-52. About family habits - empty rituals and helpful routines, and ended with PEWS - Prayer, Eating, Worship, Serving. We have to remember that for next week.
