This is now the second family service I have attended at St. Peters. Today the numbers are very much lower than last month. The church is not opened into the hall. Bob introduces the service by saying that a lot of the members of the congragation are at the remembrance service in Brentwood. Brenda speaks about her time in Israel, and on the subject of peace. Something the that Israelites and the Palestinians do not experience very much. The service is in the usual style, with children doing readings, and prayers. Bob hands them the microphone, and the crackle proves that the technology that is meant to help so often hinders.
After the service I speak to another young couple, they again have moved out of London, and are impressed with the family feel, and the freedom the children have. They mention Gordons Group, which I must find out lots more about.
I am beginning to feel very at home in the church.
