Part of my life has been found. Many years ago we decorated the lounge, and put all the things in it in different places for safe keeping. Putting things in safe places is always a way of making sure you never find them again. My collection of 35mm slides had disappeared, or more accurately the memory of the 'safe place' they were put in had disappeared. I had looked for them a few weeks ago, and had started to worry. Not that they are valuable - there only value is to me and my family. Nevertheless I was worried! Worried about loosing my memories.
They have been found, in the corner of a little used (probably very full) cupboard.
Reminds me of Luke 15:8-10, but I will not be throwing a party. I celebrated by making room for them somewhere more easily accessible. So there's another parallel - that's what God does when the lost are found - they become more readily accessible!
anyway, to make this space I threw out a lot of the documentation I had kept that went with my first PC, the old 80386PC (still in the loft), and some of the children's games that went with it. Anyone remember "Hurray for Henrietta" and "Henrietta's book of Spells" - educational games from the early '90's.
Yeay for educational games... is that where I get my strange fascination for things like Charmed, hmmm, I wonder!
