We took Liz to Stoke Gifford, a not-so-small village on the ourskirts of Bristol, where she will be working for the next 10 months or so at St. Michaels. The people were very kind to us they took us out for an evening meal - and paid for it and they puts us up in someone's house for the night and gave us breakfast. They even let us have a house key, so we could come and go if we wanted to. It was easy to feel that we were honoured guests. I have been wondering how hospitality is supposed to work in our culture after seeing it in action in Tanzania in 2002 in a very different culture. Now I've seen it in action in England too.
Thanks to the people of St. Michaels who looked after us so well.
